In October, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended that boys ages 11 and up get vaccinated for the human papilloma virus. The vaccine can prevent cancers that result from sexual activity. Diehn says she has talked to her kids about sex and is in favor of the vaccine for its protective benefits. “It’s just out there,” Diehn said of sexuality being introduced into the lives of kids and teens.Valley News - James M.
