After school in Lebanon, N.H., on Jan.31, 2014, Meridith Theriault gives her friend Miranda White a bit of support while Miranda feeds the pretend baby she is taking care of over the weekend for health class. Both are eighth-graders at Lebanon Middle School. Students all take health class and participate in the parenting class. The babies are programmed to cry. Feeding and diaper changes are done throughout the day and through the night. Patricia Kane is directed to leave Lebanon District Court after her arraignment on a fugitive from justice charge after taking her son Zachary out of foster care Monday night. Kane was later spotted at the Canoe Club in Hanover and found by Hanover Police at the Lyme Inn.
